In 1988, some members of my family sat my Grandfather and his brother down and asked them to talk about the history of our family. My dad and I recorded the conversation.
Sadly, the quality of the original audiotape is poor, but I did the best that I could to edit it and make it listenable.

Norman and Adolph - Family History

My uncle Ian recorded this concert at Colgate University in 1968. The first track also includes my dad on lead vocals.
Some of it is silly, and some is wonderfully beautiful. Enjoy!

Recently, Jack sat in with a band for the first time. He brought his drums and jammed with his dad's band "The Crusty Blues Project".
For almost two hours he banged away. Here is his first music video.

After years of prodding, the patriarch of our family has finally consented to letting us record his stories. Starting this February we have been sitting down with him periodically to record his memories of his life. Here are the first two sessions:
Childhood Memories
Basic Training

Jack has shown himself to have a real ear for music. We captured him enjoying this song just the other day

While Jack has not yet produced any music of his own, he did spent a lot of time inside his mom listening to music every day.
Over the course of 9 months Jack listened to about 100 hours of Jazz, Classical, Rock & Roll, and a whole lot of Country and Bluegrass.
The day after he was born Jack had his first hearing test, and passed with flying colors.

Here are some songs that Jason has recorded with The Crusty Blues Project, The Colgate 13, and on his own.
